A play on the word ruffled, in regards being physically disturbed, 'Ruffled' is adorned with a decorative, pleated, circular collar, known as a 'ruff', once worn by men, women and children in the Elizabethan era and common attire for pre 1920's alter and choir boys of the Church of England. With reference to the Cremona toffee business inception in the Church, 'Ruffled' serves as a sweet-sounding symbol of hope and faith in new beginnings.

Please be advised:

Though these assemblage sculptures contain vintage doll components that may have once been played with by children, this piece is not a toy to be played with.

As with all bulbs, they get hot! I use low 15 wattage bulbs on each piece but the bulbs still shed heat, so be advised to display your piece in a suitable location.
